IIRC I have heard somewhere that they give you a 3 day period where you still train. If not I don't think 24 hours is an unreasonable period to let it train.

Just an idea, but maybe try the sentry drones that aren't Gallente and have a decent optimal? Also nothing says you have to use giant guns on a BS, use Ogre's to take out bs and you can concentrate on cruisers. *NOTE* I fly a Raven *ENDNOTE*
